Heidi is a Principal and Director of the firm and manages the firm’s Sydney team.
Heidi has over 25 years experience with Anisimoff Legal and advises in all areas of the practice. Heidi has extensive experience in commercial law and commercial contracts. She regularly drafts, reviews, negotiates and advises on client service agreements, supplier agreements and the full suite of business contract requirements across creative, advertising, media, digital, technology, licence, IP, talent and data. She also regularly handles corporate documentation and commercial transactions including sale of business, share sale and shareholder agreements.
Heidi specialises in all aspects of law impacting the advertising, media and communications industries and advises on advertising clearance, intellectual property, consumer law, privacy, digital, social media and regulatory compliance. Heidi manages the firm’s commercial leasing practice and handles all office and commercial lease matters.
Heidi’s clients include businesses across a range of industries including advertising, media, technology, food, consumer goods and retail, and works with companies, in-house counsel, and many communications, media and digital agencies. Heidi’s specialist legal expertise and practical industry knowledge, enables her to give clients insightful commercial advice and strategic guidance, with a deep understanding of their commercial interests.
Heidi presents on advertising law at MCLE education events for lawyers, has taught advertising and intellectual property law at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and the Enmore College of Design. Heidi regularly speaks at advertising events and in-house training seminars for clients.
Heidi has been with the firm since 1999 and has been a Principal since 2009. Heidi has a Bachelor of Laws degree from UTS, (Honours, Dean’s List) and a Master of Laws degree from UNSW specialising in Communications, Media and IT.
